Taylor has been a Massage Practitioner for over 20 years, originally graduating from the Massage program at the North Carolina School for Natural Healing, in Asheville, NC, in 1995. She has always been drawn to and immersed in the healing arts, as both her parents are physical therapists and ran a thriving practice out of her childhood home.
Sessions with Taylor usually are a blend of therapeutic techniques, drawing from her extensive training in Myofascial Release, Polarity Therapy and Neuromuscular Therapy-and her favorites- Structural Decompression and Visceral Manipulation. She also has her inter-oral endorsement and loves working with clients with TMJ and headaches caused by jaw tension. Her ability to tailor sessions to the needs of the individual, coupled with a love of client education on ways to unwind pain patterns, helps clients move out of pain and into greater ease. Through her work in Medical Massage and Chiropractic clinics, Taylor learned to work with both chronic and acute injuries, as well as on-going stress related issues. Though her first love is treatment work, Taylor also understands the value of a deep, relaxing, Swedish Massage.
As a performer and dancer since an early age, Taylor has a natural affinity for how the body works and strives to pass that on to her clients by teaching them new ways to stretch and open their posture. When not in session, she still loves to spend much of her free time dancing!
